History of
Trinity

In 1954, a number of parents from one of the local Christian
Reformed Churches met together to discuss the possibility of forming
a Christian school in Burlington. Their aim was to provide a learning
environment that proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord over all areas of
life, including education, and in an environment that taught values
that were consistent with their Christian homes.
Through much prayer and vision, the Burlington Parental Christian
School Society was established in 1954. It would take, however, ten
more years for the school doors to open.
In 1964, a modern, 4-room school building opened at 650 Walkers Line
with 66 pupils and 3 teachers. It was a great day of celebration
with much thanks being given to our faithful Father in heaven.
The Lord blessed our school with much growth so that expansion of
the facilities was required. During the 1970's a new gymnasium was
constructed, along with 5 new classrooms and a library.
In 1989, Trinity celebrated 25 years of Christian education. The
anniversary celebration provided our Christian School Society with
an opportunity to reflect on God's blessings and to give Him praise.
Many of our original members were present.
From 1991 to 2004, the Lord blessed Trinity with significant growth
and enrolment. We have grown to be an interdenominational school
that is culturally diverse. A new school building was built to accommodate
the increased student numbers. We praise God for his provision. The
doors opened on Itabashi Way in September 2004 and we celebrated
the opening with a Service of Dedication and Praise.
The future for our school is bright, and with the Lord’s blessing
and guidance, we will continue to celebrate God’s grace,
as we provide Christian education for Christian families to the
greater
Halton region.
